Who are we?

Founded in 1927, The Strangers' Club is a Private Members' Club nestled in the historic centre of Norwich - on Elm Hill.

The Club was formed to bring "Strangers" together. Now, as then, Members invite guests and friends along to enjoy our exclusive setting.

We offer a wide selection of events, from Wine Tasting to Rambles, Guest Speakers to Themed Lunch and Dinners - all in a relaxed social environment.

The Strangers' Club is a members only setting, where only guests who visit and meet our Directors are asked to join.

Members, and their partners, can enjoy:

Please be aware:

Prospective members visiting should be male, and over 21 years of age.
If you apply for membership the application is reviewed by the Club Board and if endorsed it shall posted on the Club Noticeboard for members review for 14 days - at this point your election to join the Club is approved.
All members are required to pay a joining fee and an annual subscription (adjusted to date joining in the year). Membership is available for Full, Away and Young members.
